The Rules

Bingo starts when the ribbon is cut and the phrase "Let's have a parade" is said.  Not before.

If for some reason, the ribbon cutting is not shown, bingo starting time will be determined and agreed upon by all players, with a 3-2-1 countdown indicating it is time to play.

Parade bingo is played on the honor system.  Do not mark an item if you did not see it.  Do not stretch definitions of items to mark an item found.

Unless a commercial is a bingo item, items in commercials DO NOT count towards bingo completion.

You may not look at another players card to mark your items. Remember, you may have to prove where you saw an item, so no cheating.

Gameplay (and the parade) will only be paused during dinner preparation breaks.  All players must exit the main viewing area during this time.

If you chose to leave the main viewing area during an active gameplay time, you do so under your own decision and understanding that you may miss a bingo item.

In the event a player cannot attend Thanksgiving Day Parade Bingo, they may tele-bingo or play virtually, by printing a card from the current year and posting updates on the Facebook event/text.

To claim BINGO, you must mark EACH AND EVERY item on your BINGO card.

In the event that no one is able to fill their entire card, winner will be determined at the end of the parade based on number of items marked.

The end of the parade will be marked after the arrival of Santa.

If a player calls BINGO before the end of the parade and is not challenged, that player receives the SUPREME CHAMPION SUPREME trophy.

After that time, other player's placements will be determined by the number of items marked on their card.

Other players will receive placement ribbons, which must be worn during dinner,  in honor of the SUPREME CHAMPION SUPREME.

(If you are playing virtually/telebingo, you will receive a virtual badge of honor to display proudly to your friends/family, at your location.)

In the event of a tie for 1st place, each player claiming BINGO must provide a brief explanation of their marked items and RPS will be used to determine the winner.

The SUPREME CHAMPION SUPREME trophy stays with the 1st place winner until the next Thanksgiving Day Parade Bingo game.  Upon returning the SUPREME CHAMPION SUPREME trophy for the next year's game, the previous years winner will receive a smaller, commemorative trophy, indicating the year they won, to keep and display proudly.
